Backcountry Stag Experience
With a new partnership with the Lagos family, 100+ year family owned Rio Minero Estancia , Southern Stag and the Lagos family have teamed up in creating one of Argentina’s most authentic backcountry stag hunting experiences there is to offer . It is 50,0000 acres of Nahuel Huapi wilderness that only we will have access to in hunting these open range Red Stags. This hunt is designed and demands physical effort as it is all accessed through horseback and in challenging terrain. We only sell so many of these hunts as our primary goal is to reassure the deer herd is healthy. We hunt above and just below the timberline and do cowboy style breakfast, lunch and dinners.
